- John and Lilith fell madly in love, and jumped the broom. Her farther was pleased. He welcomed John with open arms, and invited him into his cabin the next day

- Lilith's father showed John his cabinet, and began to treat him like a son. While in the cabin John asks if there's a possible mule that he owns. John is beginning to plan something terrible
- Thank you sir. I heard you have a mule, do you have a stable?
- this is my home, and soon our home.

- John stole the mule from Lilith's fathers stable. He took this horse and seeking freedom ran away never to look back. He married Lilith only for the riches of her fathers, he knew Lilith to be the daughter of a man who has a mule. John performs and act, and pretends to be in love with her, and tricked both her and her father into escaping the plantation, and he doesn't regret a thing.
