- Before 1870 there was this couple, William and Mary were leaving to Colorado for the homestead Act which would benefit them and their conditions of living.
- We should leave all this behind and move to Colorado for the homestead project its going to benefit us.
- Lets go and start this new life and family!
- They had taken the transcontinental Railroad to get to Colorado, but it had broken down and they had gotten off to ask for help and they ran into sod houses which were owned by the natives.
- We can help them learn how we grow our farms and how we use tools to do them to.
- As they fixed the train, William and Mary stayed there for a while and helped the natives grow their crops and they taught them about steel plows and helped them increase cattle and crop which caused effects of settlement towards the native.

- -Sadly Mary had cheated on her husband and gotten pregnant with one of the natives and this had caused them to celebrate it but William was sad they decided to throw a small party on a open range.

- They went out to see the food they were gone eat which was cattle behind the barbed wire and they had also groundwater wells that the natives would use to drink or to wash things with.

- -But this didn’t end well William had gotten mad and announced a war against the Natives for stealing what was his and they had this fight for 25 years. Mary had ran away with the others and ended up settling in another village where they had windmills and more open ranges.
