Storyboard Tekst

  • John Proctor
  • Tell the truth Mary Warren
  • Mary Warren
  • I never saw no spirits.
  • Danforth
  • What mischief is going on here?
  • You did it once you can do it again.
  • I am not able to faint now sir.
  • Really? Why's that?
  • Abigail Williams
  • Let you beware Mr Danforth. Think you be so high and mighty that the power may not turn your wits? Beware of it!
  • Oh my!
  • Danforth tells Mary there might be no afflicting spirits loose, but there were some in court. In other words, Mary Warren just confessed. If there were no spirits, that means she was faking it and there's a possibility that everything else was fake too.
  • What does she think she's doing?
  • In response to Hathorne telling Mary to faint now, she says she isn't able to do it. Now that Mary Warren can't back up her claim by fainting, she won't be believed. The judges would have to see it with their own eyes, or else she will be accused.
  • Tell the truth Elizabeth.
  • Lie Elizabeth. Lie and save John
  • We'll get to the bottom of this.
  • Abigail is being questioned. However, she responds with harsh anger which is not a good sign. Her true colors are being shown and she is openly threatening Danforth. Abigail made a mistake and let her emotions take control making her feel rebellious.
  • My precious Elizabeth. NO!
  • I thought so.
  • HAHAHA YES!
  • Abigail is being aggressive and hostile towards the judges. She's getting in the judges faces and making demands. Her motives are now seen and examined properly.
  • Elizabeth is struggling with an internal conflict: confess her husbands adultery or lie to save him. She is also physically struggling and licking her lips which shows discomfort. This won't make her appear confident.
  • Elizabeth Proctor finally gave her answer and says that John did not commit lechery. This shows that Elizabeth can lie for the right reasons. This was to save her husband, despite the reasoning behind it.
