- Newton's 1st law of motion is that and object in rest/motion will stay in rest/motion until acted on by another force. For example, I will kick this eraser.
- The eraser was at rest until I kicked it.
- Newtons second law is that if I kick this computer, which has more mass than the eraser, it will go a shorter distance.
- For example, that computer is exerting a force on the ground. The ground is pushing back on the computer.
- Newtons third law states that every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
