- how i became a refugee is because when i was younger i lived in Aleppo Syria and at the time there was a civil war going on there and me my brother my mother my sister and my father all wanted to make it to Germany it was a long journey but we made it and one time i had to be an adult was when i gave my baby sister away to a stranger because i didn't want her to drowned and die so i helped her by giving her away
- that was really smart of you to give your sister a better chance at surviving because if you didn't do that she might have died
- that was really smart that you traded the trumpet for gas because otherwise you wouldn't have had freedom
- why i became a refugee is because when i was living in Cuba we had a dictator as our leader named Fidel Castro and we were the poorest because the soviet fell so then we had few resources one time when i went to the Havana Cuba there was a huge riot and then a few hours later Fidel Castro said that if you want to you can leave so i went to my neighbors and we left on the boat and one time when i acted like an adult was when i traded my trumpet for 2 barrels of gas so that we could leave cuba and have a better life in the united states
