- john smith and crew jealousy
- John smith was arrested for mutiny and was in the cellar of the ship because he was wrongly accused by a gentleman. The gentleman was jealous of his military and naval experience and looked down on him because of his rural upbringing.
- When we found land we celebrated with tears of gratitude I thought of gold in the river, the reason we came here because the Virginia company was in search of economic opportunity. we started panning for gold when we spent a long time panning but no luck when an arrow strikes another guy back we carried him tried to help but in the end, he was dead there was nothing we could do. we then we've started working on a new fort made of wood and very strategic place.
- We made Famine, disease, and conflict with local Native American tribes in the first two years brought Jamestown to the brink of failure before the arrival of a new group of settlers and supplies in 1610. john smith said he had an idea I thought that it was not gonna work no way.
- I stood by with 3 other people in the forest with our muskets ready to fire if they kill john smith but instead, some little girl around 10 - 14 wanted their jewelry for food so they made the deal we lowered our weapons and were in utter shock. when we ran back to base so john doesn't find out we were gonna shoot the natives if they shot him. john smith was very charismatic after what we saw as a great leader john Rolfe said earlier that he was gonna a make something to make a profit so the investor can make money and spend even more money towards us started making tobacco making us money as well.
- we finished the fort so nothing gets in we've got people saying their throat is getting dry so we put them in the beds and give them water but they just get sicker. we soon realized there was something wrong with the water so we made wells which helped with the fever but then john smith left cause he was wounded.
- we experience a huge famine problem we were barely hanging when John Rolfe married Pocahontas and made a truce between them which made many others died so we all just abandoned the colony and when I returned I barely had any money.
