- Homer comes into town and meets Miss Emily. The town suspects that they had gotten married

- Miss Emily goes and buys arsenic (poison).
- Give me arsenic. Now!
- Emily barely goes out her house anymore and Homer is nowhere to be seen. There is a smell coming from her house
- The people attending her funeral discover a man's corpse on her bed (Homer). There is gray hair next to it.
