- I heard they make sure you have had an active residency in the U.S. You can't take too many trips for a long time outside the country, or you won't be qualified!

- I am at least 18 years of age
- I have resided in the United States for 5 years
- I know how to speak, read, and write English (Note: You will be tested on this.)

- I'm so nervous for my interview! Oh, what if I don't do well...No! I will do well.

- I think I did well. I certainly passed my English test, and I think the interviewer liked me! Now all I need before the Oath of Allegiance is a test of US History and Civics.
