- (Athena) "you must battle and defeat the Trojans"
- Athena is there for guidance of Odysseus. she'll help him usually when hes in a tough bind.
- on Odysseus's journey back to Ithaca he lands on Polyphemus's island and tricks him and then stabs him in the eye to escape. this upset Poseidon causing the rest of Odysseus's voyage home to become a disaster.
- Odysseus ends up arriving at Circe's island where him and his men are there for 5 years(to them they've only been there for 5 days) until he starts think about his son and wife waiting for him in Ithaca. he then starts his voyage back to Ithaca.
- Odysseus then meets Aeolus and he gives him a bag of wind to use to help him get back to Ithaca. But when hes almost to Ithaca one of his crew undid the bag causing them to land back at Aeolus's. Odysseus asks for more wind or something to help but he then gets turned down because hes Odysseus is greedy , ungrateful and cursed.
- Odysseus will then run into Calypso. He spends a year with her almost staying with her for life because of what she was offering him. Zeus will finally tell her that she need to let him return home because staying there was not his fate.
- When Odysseus finally returns home Athena disguises him as a beggar and he competes for his wife's hand and ends up killing all the men that were there. he will later then reveal himself to his wife later on.
