- so this what makes the process of life
- Molecules travel across plasma membrane by moving down concentration gradients. Meaning no energy is needed. making going from inside to outside and vise-versa very easily. Its easiest if your a small molecule that way you can fit better and pass easily.Non charged is good too like carbon dioxide or oxygen.
- Molecules moving down the concentration gradient or also possible to move across which the process is tiring and take lots of energy. This energy is made from ATP being broke down. This then helps push the energized molecules against their gradients.
- this means moving moving materials inside the organism this is extremely important to grow and give life to all living things.
