- The chromosomes are now located in the middle of the cell in a single file line and the spindle fibers have attached to each chromosome.

- The chromatids are pulled away to opposite sides of the cell by the spindle fibers.

- Two new nuclei are forming to creat what is now known as haploid cells.

- Cytokinesis is responsible for the splitting of the cell, this is done by splitting the cytoplasm. Once the cells have been split we are left with four haploid cells.
