- Great study session today mate, enjoy lunch with your Dad. By the way, your voice sounded different this afternoon.
- Thanks, I hope Dad wants burgers for lunch, I'm starving! You know, a few people have been telling me the same thing about my voice I think I might be going through puberty.
- Yes Thomas I do. You know I went through puberty when I was your age
- Um, Excuse me Dad, I know we are having a relaxing lunch but, do you know anything about puberty?
- Puberty can be a confusing time Thomas. There will be lots of changes in the way you think, feel and look, during this time. But don't worry, its all very normal.
- Um dad I think I am already going through some of those changes, like my voice is getting deeper... And sometimes I feel sad and I don't know why.
- Come on Thomas I have got an idea. Because you studied for your test so well, lets go to the football field and have a kick.
- Hey Dad, I was never able to kick this far before.
- Yes Thomas, that is one of the physical changes in puberty, growth spurts.

- Thomas, What's wrong?
- I don't know Josh, this morning I felt fine, by lunch time I was in a bad mood, and now I just feel sad... Its really confusing
- Don't worry Thomas, that sometimes happens to me too. Whenever you feel like that, just call me and we can go to the oval to kick the footy, because that always makes me feel better.
