- I really like to go camping but I have a project so maybe I should say no
- Consider the Outcomes
- Camping is really fun and rare but my teacher would be upset
- My project is really important but Bo might be mad and my project is less fun
- After school on Thursday Joe's cousin, Bo asked Joe if he wanted to go camping.
- Identify your values
- If I value having fun then I should go camping
- Joe remembers that he has a project do Monday and is thinking what to do while Bo sleeps.
- Decide and Act
- I can't go camping because I have a project due Monday
- That's okay, I understand with your project
- Joe thinks about the pros and cons of the choices while Bo sleeps
- Evaluate the Decision
- That was a good decision because Bo was not too upset and now I can do my project
- Joe is thinking about how his values should affect his decision
- If I value education and good grades then I should stay home
- Joe wakes up Bo to tell him that he can't go camping
- As Joe walks up to his house he evaluates his decision and decides it is a good decision
