- Ugh! I have science.... it's so boring!
- Don't say that! Today will be really fun. I heard we are leaning about carbon and the carbon cycle!
- Scene 2
- That actually sounds really fun!!!
- Scene 3
- Hi guys! Today, we will be leaning about carbon. The first thing we will learn about carbon is: Decomposition!
- Scene 4
- People disturb many of the most important organic bits in the soil. One of the most important organic matters, humus, can store carbon dioxide for hundreds to thousands of years. But, Humus cannot be disturbed. But, people disturb the soil, so the Humus can no longer store the carbon dioxide, and the carbon dioxide all goes out.

- What about fossil fuels???
- Fossil Fuels are different fuels that make carbon dioxide. We burn fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and natural gas. If it’s to drive, use electricity, or make products, we are producing carbon dioxide. They can also be found in ocean, plants, and soils. When fossil fuels are burned, they release carbon dioxide. Since burning fossil fuel is unnatural, it is disrupting the cycle and knocking it out of balance. Now, the atmosphere is getting loaded with carbon dioxide.
