Storyboard Text
- A man and his expecting wife live in the sky-world above an ocean, in the center of the sky-world there is a sacred tree. the wife keeps the man constantly occupied demanding different cravings, eventually asking her husband for roots of the sacred tree, which he refused to get.
- after the husband gives in and digs a hole to bare the tree's roots, he's surprised to dig through the ground and find empty space under the world. filled with curiosity though his wife goes to get them herself, and as she leans down and sees ocean beneath she either slips or gets pushed in, pulling some of the dirt and roots with her.
- As the woman falls she is caught by sea birds flying wingtip to wingtip to catch her, but not being able to hold her long some of the birds fly down to the water, getting help from a giant sea turtle who accepts to receive the woman on his back.
- as the woman recovers from the shock the sea creatures offer to help her survive, so she asks if they had any dirt since from there she could plant and grow the roots and bits she brought down here with her. the creatures agree and one by one they dive in the ocean to try and reach the bottom to get dirt, but they all fail except the muskrat, who barely gets back alive.
- From the dirt, the earth grows, and eventually, the woman gives birth to her daughter. once the daughter comes of age a strange man shows up. nobody knows who he is, but once the woman's daughter sets eyes on him she passes out. the man puts two arrows on her torso, one blunt and the other sharp, then leaves. Eventually, the daughter realizes she's pregnant with twins. one of the twins, the right-handed one, wants to be born the natural way, while the left-handed one wants to go another way, and is eventually born out of his mother's armpit, killing her
- The twins both grow up to hate each other, as the right-handed one, honest and loving, blames the left-handed one, who is conniving and a trickster, for the death of their mother. for some reason the woman, now old and a grandmother, sides with the left-handed twin and defends his actions. they fight their entire lives, creating creatures and life to oppose each other until eventually, the right-handed one lies to his brother to trick him into bringing a stick to one of their fights.
