There was a kid named Billy, he was preparing for school.
After breakfast he headed to school.
On his way to school he thought something.
Should I go to the park first? Yeah why not.
What happened here?!! Why is the park full of garbage?
To his surprise, the park was full of garbage, he couldn't believe it.
He continued his way to school, still couldn't believing it.
On the way, he ran into his friends.
Hey, what's up?
How you doin' bud?
Hey do you know what happened to the park? It's full of garbage.
No way, are you serious!?
How strange, literally yesterday it was green.
I'm so confused, why would someone do that?
It's our favorite park, whoever did it will pay for it.
Finally, they arrived to school.
Good morning guys, welcome back, take a seat.
Today we have someone who’s going to talk to us about a very important topic that has been happening these last years, the global warming. Please welcome Mr. Phillip
Hi kids, well as your teacher said, today I'm here to talk about Global Warming.
Over 1760 and 1840 humans began a new revolution, a revolution that increased our knowledge, new invents that will blew our minds, humans start constructing trains, fabrics, first cars and planes blueprints, this period of time is called the Industrial Revolution.
This revolution was basically involved in every product we can invent, but within thinking in consequences, people started creating CARBONE DIOXIDE, but they didn´t knew what was that or if it could affect us in a future. Over the last 200 years, humans have increased the amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere by about 46%, this has been the main cause of the rise of global warming.
Nowadays there are many things that are causing and increasing this global warming.
The emission of carbon dioxide occurs as a result of the burning of fossil fuels such as oil or coal and this makes global warming and other things such as the emission of greenhouse gasses, even with small things, like if we throw agarbage on the street, the increase deforestation, if we throw a bottle on the streets or anything, this on the pass of the years will discompose and affect our environment.
Since Industrial Revolution the way that human think has change, because human create a way to live a way to get things, and now we know this as money. Humans for the lastyears is just obsessed with money, all what he do is for money, so now we don'tcare about anything else, even if we create something that we know will affect our environment but bring us money we don´t care, because all we want is money.
We can change this,we can change the world, we first need to recycle, left the car at home, justuse the water you need, turn lights off when you don´t need them, and reuse paper.
The thing is that, if we don’t stop global warming, it’s possible that over 75% of allspecies will be extinct a few centuries from now.
The sea will rise another 1 to 8 feet by 2100 as a result from melting ice and the expansion of sea water
The mean temperature on the planet will have raised an additional (2.0-4.9°C) compared with the temperatures at the time of the Industrial Revolution
And there will be more frequent and intense heat waves, rainfalls, drought and storms.
All over the world, people are working together to lessen the effects of climate change and other negative human impacts on the planet. The basic idea is to drastically reduce global emissions of CO2 and other substances that contribute to climate change.
Currently, 185 countries out of almost 200 have joined in support. If we don't change our way of life, the planet may not have much time left.
I wanted to mention that today on the way to school I saw the park full of garbage, I think it would be incredible if we all gEt together to clean it up, what do you think teacher?
That's an amazing idea Billy, I’m pretty sure everyone would be happy to make something to help the world. Let's do it today after school.
After school everyone got together in the park and picked up all the trash, the children started a new change in their lives.
