- Light energy is produced by the sun as it shines down, causing heat to reflect off the surface causing the players to sweat.
- My hands are so sweaty, I can't grip the bat.
- It's so hot, I hope the ball doesn't slip out of my hand.
- Riley pitches the ball and the ball createskinetic energy.
- I hope I hit this a long way.
- No way he hits my fastball.
- Trevor hits the ball and it starts its vertical climb creating potential energy and sound energy fromthe bat hitting the ball.
- I hope I can run and catch it before it goes over.
- Oh no!!!
- Get out of here ball!
- Eva is running to catch the ball and her body is creating kinetic energy. It's almost like her glove has an attraction to the baseball as they move closer together.
- I think I can get there!
- The ball is falling and the ball and Eva are creating kinetic energy.
- When the Eva jumped into the air her body created gravitational potential energy and while she attempts to catch the ball it converts from kinetic to potential energy.
- Sound energy is created as the crowd goes crazy as Evamisses the ball and Trevor has hit a home run. The high pitch of the cheers is so loud, little kids are covering their ears.
- The 95 mph pitch and 85 mph bat speed combined withexit velocity, launch angle, gravity and air pressure created a 402 foot home run blast for Trevor.
