- Rising Action
- you guys can stay at our barn until dawn
- This scene starts with Ann and Tom planning their escape and preparing the horse and the wagon.
- Climax
- WE GOT YOU! YOU CANT RUN NOW
- In this scene, all of the fugitives have started their journey. one of the fugitives, Fannie, is scared and worried if the plan messes up. Ann reassures her that everything will be fine since they have uncle solomens map and weapons.
- Falling Action
- WELL YOU CANT SELL A DEAD SLAVE SO YOU EITHER HAVE TO KILL ME OR RUN AWAY
- In this scene, uncle solemons map told them to go to a barn that was owned by a old black couple that was kind of a resting place for the fugitives. they allowed them to stay at their barn but they had to leave before dawn.
- Resolution
- FREEDOM!!!1
- After the fugitives left the barn, they were soon caught on by slave hunters that wanted to bring them back. all of them were trembling with fear. they didn't know if they would successfully escape.
- WE ARE TAKING YOU BACK!
- Ann Wood took the risk and pulled out a pistol and told them "YOU CANT SELL A DEAD SLAVE!". which was true because if the hunters killed them, it wouldn't only be a loss for the sellers, they will also get punished. so they fled away.
- They finally reached Philadelphia and were officially set free from slavery!
- WE DID IT! WE ARE FREE
