- Howdy, I'm Mayor Square of Quadrilateralville. I would like to thank the documentary crew for letting me introduce you to our perfect town. We have 6 districts here.
- Parallelogram District
- Behind me is the Parallelogram district. It's kind of strange but Square district, Rhombus district, AND Rectangle district are all inside of Parallelogram district.
- So what makes parallelograms different from trapezoids and kites?
- Me Too!!
- I have 2 pairs of parallel sides, my opposite sides are congruent, my opposite angles are congruent, my diagonals bisect, and my consecutive angles are supplementary

- Let's go down the street to the rectangle district.

- Hi Roger, I have to ask, what makes you different from your average parallelogram
- Well, ya know I have 4 right angles and congruent diagonals.
