  • " O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo? Deny thy father and refuse thy name, or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn love, And I'll no longer be a Capulet." Act 2 Scene 2, Page 71, line 35-40
  • Oh Romeo, why do you have to be a Montague? Can't you just deny your family and your name for our love? or if you can't do that, then at least promise your love to me and I'll give up being a Capulet.

  • Juliet: In the long quote, Juliet is asking if Romeo truly loves her and if he swears to love her for the rest of her life. Romeo: Romeo promises Juliet that he will always love her. He swears from the moon.

  • Juliet leaves the scene saying that she wants to marry Romeo, After Juliet leaves, Romeo is saying that it is sad and boring when he doesn't see Juliet.
