- All the people who saw my presence but challenged me 10 times, will not see the land that I promised!!! But my servant Kalev and anybody like Kalev who fully followed after me will see the land!

- Pesukim- Chaf Vav-Lamed Hay
- I will do what they said. They said they would want to die in the desert so that is whats going to happen. But it will only be men from ages 20-60 who will die in the desert. They will be wondering in the desert for 40 years. The number of days that the spies were exploring the land.
- But why did you make it for 40 years?
- The reason I made it for 40 years is because that means that the youngest person that could die would be 60 years old when they will die and I want my people to live a full life.
- Pesukim- Lamed Vav-Lamed Chet
- All the spies besides for Kalev and Yehoshua will be punished measure for measure. They sinned with their tongues so they will get punished with their tongues. The stomach is the center of your body and Israel is the center of the world. Worms use their mouths to destroy and they used their mouth to destroy.
- 12)וַיֹּ֣אמֶר יְהֹוָ֔ה סָלַ֖חְתִּי כִּדְבָרֶֽךָ- Hashem forgave Moshe and Bnei Yisroel. 13)וַיְנַסּ֣וּ אֹתִ֗י זֶ֚ה עֶ֣שֶׂר פְּעָמִ֔ים וְלֹ֥א שָׁמְע֖וּ בְּקוֹלִֽי׃- The people who challenged Hashem 10 times and didn't listen to his voice will not enter the land. 14)וַהֲבִֽיאֹתִ֗יו אֶל־הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ אֲשֶׁר־בָּ֣א שָׁ֔מָּה וְזַרְע֖וֹ יוֹרִשֶֽׁנָּה׃- Hashem said that Kalev would go to the land and his children will inherit the land. (Also anyone like Kalev).

- Moshe explained the punishment to Bnei Yisroel and they mourned.
- 15) (Rashi)כאשר דברתם. שֶׁבִּקַּשְׁתֶּם מִמֶּנִּי "אוֹ בַּמִּדְבָּר הַזֶּה לוּ מָתְנוּ- Hashem said he would do what they said. Bnei Yisroel said that they would want to die in the desert so Hashem listened to them. 16)(Rashi)כְּדֵי שֶׁיִּהְיוּ אוֹתָם שֶׁל בְּנֵי עֶשְׂרִים מַגִּיעִין לִכְלַל שִׁשִּׁים- Hashem wanted Bnei Yisroel to live a full life so he made it that they would be wondering for 40 years so that the youngest person who would die would be 60.

- A group of people went up the mountain to try to go to Israel because they wanted to see the land.
- 17)וַיָּמֻ֙תוּ֙ הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֔ים מוֹצִאֵ֥י דִבַּת־הָאָ֖רֶץ רָעָ֑ה בַּמַּגֵּפָ֖ה לִפְנֵ֥י יְהֹוָֽה׃- The spies will immdiately get punished , before Hashem.18)(Rashi)עַ"פִּ מִדּוֹתָיו שֶׁל הַקָּבָּ"ה שֶׁהוּא מוֹדֵד מִדָּה כְּנֶגֶד מִדָּה- The punishment was made according to how Hashem acts-Measure for measure.

- 19)וַיְדַבֵּ֤ר מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶת־הַדְּבָרִ֣ים הָאֵ֔לֶּה אֶֽל־כׇּל־בְּנֵ֖י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַיִּֽתְאַבְּל֥וּ הָעָ֖ם מְאֹֽד׃- Moshe told Bnei Yisroel the new plan and they mourned.
- 20)וַיַּשְׁכִּ֣מוּ בַבֹּ֔קֶר וַיַּֽעֲל֥וּ אֶל־רֹאשׁ־הָהָ֖ר לֵאמֹ֑ר הִנֶּ֗נּוּ וְעָלִ֛ינוּ אֶל־הַמָּק֛וֹם אֲשֶׁר־אָמַ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה כִּ֥י חָטָֽאנוּ׃- A group of people got up early in the morning and went up the mountain to go see the land, since they knew they wouldn't be able to see it because they sinned. 21)לָ֥מָּה זֶּ֛ה אַתֶּ֥ם עֹבְרִ֖ים אֶת־פִּ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה- Moshe warned them multiple times not to go.22)וַיֵּ֤רֶד הָעֲמָלֵקִי֙ וְהַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֔י הַיֹּשֵׁ֖ב בָּהָ֣ר הַה֑וּא וַיַּכּ֥וּם וַֽיַּכְּת֖וּם עַד־הַֽחׇרְמָֽה- They did not listen and the Amaleiki and Knaani came down the mountain and killed them.
- Why are you going against Hashem?! You won't succeed!! You will not beat your enemy!! Hashem will not be with you!!
