Storyboard Text
- Jack completely ignores what Ralph has to say. Soon, Ralph's temper broke. They began attacking each other again.
- "You're a beast and a swine and a bloody, bloody thief!" (Golding 179).

- Piggy demands to speak, screaming for his right to talk. Meanwhile, Roger is throwing stones at Ralph and Piggy.
- "I got the conch!" (Golding 180).

- Piggy starts shouting at the savages, questioning whether their actions are beneficial towards their survival.
- "Which is better—to have rules and agree, or to hunt and kill?" (Golding 180).
- "Which is better, law and rescue, or hunting and breaking things up?" (Golding 180).
- While Piggy is yelling at them for their unnecessary fights, Roger leans all his weight on the lever where it lifts a boulder off the cliff.

- Once the lever is pushed, the boulder rolls down the hill. Ralph avoids getting hit, but the conch is destroyed into a "thousand white fragments" (Golding 181).
- CRACK
- The boulder hits Piggy and sends him flying down the high cliff. He falls forty feet to his death. Piggy's body is washed out to sea.
