- Hi Dad!
- Ordinary World:Theseus is heir to the throne of Athens
- Proud of you son!!
- Call to Adventure:Theseus discovers that every several years, a young Athenian is sacrificed to the island of Crete. On this island lives a Minotaur in an inescapable Labyrinth.
- Oh no!!
- Son, someone must be sacrificed.
- Refusal of the Call:Theseus doesn't refuse the call at all. He is excited at the opportunity of an adventure.
- I'll Do It!!
- Meeting the Mentor:King Aegeus, Theseus' father, serves as his mentor. However, he is different from many mentors as he doesn't give much advice or even encourage his son to go on the journey.
- Have fun on your trip Theseus!!
- Crossing the Threshold:Despite his father telling him not to, Theseus gets on a boat and starts towards Crete with the intention of slaying the Minotaur to prevent the sacrifice of any other Athenians. He promises to change the color of his sail if he succeeds.
- Off I go to slay the monster!
- Hello fair maiden. I am here to slay the evil monster that resides in your land.
- Tests, Allies & Enemies:Theseus meets a beautiful Cretan Princess who fell in love with him. She then told him how to escape the Labyrinth by trailing a string behind Theseus.
- I know how to help you!
