- I already said I don't have the money Dad, why do you keep calling me for this? Mom told me that you'd keep calling but isn't this too much?
- Sarah all I asked was for you to give me some of your paycheck! My landlord is about to evict me, forget about your Mom for a moment will you!
- Sarah's dad had been asking her for money for two months now, and her mother had told her not to everytime. She felt terrible after every call, but her dad still kept calling.
- I can guarantee that he isn't in trouble Sarah. If he was, the whole neighbourhood would know.
- Sarah you have a good heart sweetie, but your dad uses that money to gamble. I know you love your dad but this isn't good for him.
- But Mom! He calls me so often, what if he's in trouble?
- Besides, he's never cared for us when we were in trouble. I think we should just eat dinner and forget about the whole thing. I made your favourite!
- Oh my gosh, really!? I've been craving it for the longest time!
- Sarah's mother had told her to block her father's number, but ignoring him made her feel awful. He was never like this growing up and seeing him like this was devastating to Sarah. She believed that he could become a better person if he tried. She needed a plan to help him realize this.
