- Many parents pulled their children out of schools to pursue the experience that the I.R. had to offer. Families believed more in wages than education since it gave their children jobs and helped provide for the rest of the family
- Where children were before the I.R.
- The primary focus in society after the I.R. was set on factories and the production of new things. During this time the labor force was very high and that meant that a lot of people were working, especially in factories
- Focus in Society before the I.R.
- Before the I.R. not many children worked in factories; instead, they worked at farms or at home around the house and received better living conditions
- Many parents forced their children to pursue a better education since there was not a huge demand for workers at the time and the jobs did not pay well so it was better for children to be in school after the I.R.
- The primary focus in society before the I.R. was set on farming and agriculture since there were not many inventions before and the labor force was still somewhat low
