Muhammad was born in 570, in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, to a woman named Amina. His mother, Amina, later died, and his father was already dead, leaving him in his uncle's care, after his grandpa died too.
Preaching and Leaving - 622
When Muhammad was 25, he met Khadija in Syria. She found him honest and hardworking, so he ended up working for her. Later in 595, they got married.
Conquering - 630
I have conquered Mecca.
When he was 40 and meditating in a cave on Mount Hira, the angel Jibreel visited him and made him recite God's words.
Death - 632
After the angel visit, he began preaching to worship the God of Abraham and gained followers. Mecca's leaders felt threatened by this community and this resulted in Muhammad leading his followers on a journey to Medina, in 622.
The community he established in Medina -umma- united many of Arabia's tribes. Muhammad then returned to Mecca in 630 and conquered it. The Ka'aba was rededicated to the God of Abraham and Muhammad was considered the final prophet.
Muhammad made one last pilgrimage to Mecca, and then returned to Medina. He died there in 632, after brief illness.
