- Persephone is a beautiful maiden that attracts the attention of many men. Her mother, Demeter, wants Persephone all to herself and keeps all men away from her.
- Climax
- Persephone, who do you want to stay with?
- Hades was also attracted to Persephone. His heart softened when he saw her. He asked Demeter if he could marry her daughter, Persephone, but Demeter said that it would never happen.
- Falling Action
- I know that Hades tricked Persephone. The earth will never be fertile again.
- Here's what we'll do, Persephone will stay 6 months with Hades, and 6 months with you Demeter.
- Hades was heartbroken but he kidnapped Persephone either way. She ate a few pomegranate seeds that Hades had given to her. Later, Zeus asked who she wanted to live with.

- Since Persephone had eaten the pomegranate seeds, that made her want to live in the Underworld. Persephone decided to stay and live with her husband Hades.

- Demeter was furious at Hades because she thought that he had somehow tricked Persephone into staying with him. Zeus made an agreement that Persephone would stay 6 months with Hades, and 6 months with Demeter.
