- British just wanted the 13 colonies power for more land and respect. Colonies thought that Britian would fix their problems. Then taxation came in and Britian will stat to fire. America had to make a move.
- Cross the Delaware river(1777) Chrismas night

- The 13 colonies wanted peace so they led there military and put George Washington in charge.George Washington put months preparing the soldiers for war.
- Winter Strikes (1780)
- Patriots were raided by british forces and taking the Military supplies. Also they were forced out of New York and send to Pennsylvania.
- The Revolutionary War (1775 to 1783)
- They wanted there home back so they crossed the Delaware river.They found there home but winter was near.
- As they setteled down for winter many got sick and ill almost half the army was gone.When they get to there home they are going to need help.British is going to colonize there land.
- The battle of Yorktown happened the patriots were very low almost to the british but the french helped because they were getting taxed and they did not want british rule. With the help they won.
