- Once Napoleon was back from Elba, he regained power and marched north. He defeated the Prussians at Ligny. They were still a threat, however, so he had to defeat the British army before the Prussians regrouped.
- On the morning of June 18, the Battle of Waterloo started. The British general, Arthur Wellesley, knew what he had to do.
- Sir, the French have started deploying!
- Destroy the british!!
- The fight took place for a very long period if time
- The British managed to hold on long enough for the Prussians to arrive! Napoleon knew it was overand tried to make things equal
- Napoleon had escaped, but he'd surrender a few days later. He was be exiled to the island of St. Helena. where he spent his last few years
