- The Creation of the Bill
- I don't want to go to work anymore.
- The Bill is Proposed and Introduced
- This sounds like a good idea.
- The Bill Goes to Committee and is Debated
- No, it should not!
- This should be a law!
- An everyday citizen comes up with an idea and sends to their representative.
- The Bill is Voted on
- If the representative agrees it then they will sponser it and the idea gets introduced to the house of representatives as a bill.
- The Bill is Referred to the Senate
- I vote yea.
- I vote nay.
- Once it's in the house the representatives will debate and discuss why they disagree or agree with the bill.
- The Bill is sent to the President
- I don't like work so I vote yes.
- The house of representatives will then vote on it and if the majority votes yes it is then sent to the senate for the same process.
- The senate will discuss the bill and will be voted on for those who agree they say Yea and those who oppose say Nay.
- When the senate majority vote yea the bill is sent to the president to decide the final vote to make into a law.
