- At the start of 6th grade, Laila was a very positive girl who talked with everyone and was very confident.
- Hello Felix, how are you?
- I am doing great Laila
- She hanged out with her friends a lot and didn't care very much about negative opinions from others. Felix was one of Laila's closest friends which she has known for over 2 years
- Omg, I am so excited to hang out with my friends this weekend.
- Okay, Laila
- Most of Laila's friends started dating people and Laila still has never have dated anyone or had anyone have a crush on her.
- Wow, congratulations.
- Hey guys, I just started dating this guy called Jeremy.
- Laila started to feel worry and embarrassed but she just thought that maybe others will start liking her next year.
- No Sara.
- Laila's face started becoming red and she started fidgeting with her fingers.
- Have you started dating anyone Laila.
- "Well that's too bad," Olivia said as she made a mean face.
- Over the summer, Laila zoomed with her friends. One day they invited Jonathan to the zoom and after Laila asked Jonathan if anyone has a crush on her and Jonathan said no your too positive and sensitive, Laila finally broke and became sad.
- Definitely not, ur not even pretty and you way to positive and sensitive.
- Hey Jonathan, does any of your friends have a crush on me?
- Felix no one has a crush on me, I am so ugly. I should start swearing and be less positive so people will start liking me
- Laila started to become insecure about her body and personality. She wanted others to have a crush on her and even though Felix told her that she shouldn't start swearing she didn't listen.
- Felix
- No Laila, your not ugly, you shouldn't start swearing. It won't make you seem cooler and make others like you.
