- Arctic Foxes have a great sense of hearing so that they can hear predators from far away and hear prey from underground.
- Their thick tails keep their feet and nose warm when curled up to sleep.
- Foxes double back on their own tracks to confuse predators.
- They have white fur coats that let them blend in with the snowy environment.
- Arctic Foxes live underground in burrows. They will dig deeper if they sense prey to stay hidden.
- Kangaroos live in semi-dry climates so, they don't need a lot of water to survive, their intestines reabsorb the water as it passes through
- They have very strong legs to support their weight and large feet as well to help with balance
- Pregnant female kangaroos can put the growth of the embryo to hold until the outside conditions better,
- Their sturdy tails help them keep balance while they hop
- Kangaroos travel and feed in large groups to be safe as a protective adaptation
- They can breathe through their skin by tiny holes that intake oxygen when underwater.
- Bullfrogs have webbed feet that have a large surface area that makes it easier to swim
- Bullfrogs have a large, wide mouth that can hold a lot of food
- They have sharp teeth to chew up big prey
- Bullfrogs have strong hind legs so that they can dig holes to keep themselves cool and safe from predators.
