Storyboard Text
- Exposition:Katniss and her sister are located in a lowly mining district, and the selection of participants for the hunger games has begun. They are worried that they might be selected for the hunger games, which is a cruel event that takes place every year where tributes fight each other to the death.
- Falling Action:Katniss realizes there might be a way to bypass the rule for only one person to win, and she thinks she can make both of them win together. They hide in a cave for a while until they are forced to fight the other contestants.
- Primrose Everdeen will be going to the Hunger Games!
- I volunteer as tribute!
- Conflict:The hunger game tributes begin, and Katniss' little sister (Primrose) is selected. Katniss volunteers instead to save her little sister from the trauma. This act forces Katniss to go to the hunger games, a dangerous tradition.
- No, Katniss!
- Did she just shoot the apple out of the roast pig's mouth?
- I like her! We'll give her an 11/12.
- Thank you.
- Rising Action:As Katniss participates in the ranking system of each tribute to determine their likeliness of survival, she scores an incredible score due to her many years of hunting. This score gives Katniss hope that she might be able to survive the hunger games and make it back home to her sister. Katniss also learns about her advisor and helper during the hunger games, Haymitch, a previous winner.
- There has been a slight change in the games, 2 people can win in the Hunger Games this year. This is only if you both belong to the same district.
- Climax:Throughout the hunger games event, Katniss and Peeta have been working together to hopefully win the hunger games together. However, the game masters make a change to the game that forces there to only be one winner. This forces Katniss and Peeta to have to kill each other for one of them to win, causing the main conflict.
- Alright. We can stay here until the games are over.
- Peeta, I might have a plan for both of us to win
- Resolution :Katniss and Peeta both won after being attacked by monstrous beasts with previous tributes' eyes. Thresh was killed, but the Game Masters said that only one of them could win, yet they realized that the rule change seemed to be a trick. Katniss and Peeta pretended to swallow poisonous berries to trick the Game Masters into letting both of them win together, or else the hunger games would have a bad ending and they would get bad reviews. This resulted in the game masters stepping in and letting them both win the hunger games.
