- The Illustrator/Mapper draws a picture or thought map related to the section of reading. You may sketch something, recreate a scene, diagram, or anything that is in the book or that reminds you of something. Focus on illustrating something that has a strong emotional connection or response. Present your illustration to the group without discussion until all members have seen it. Then, discuss why you drew the picture and what it means to you.
