- Act 1, Scene 1
- How dare those Commoners? We must make sure Caesar doesn't take over.
- Act 1, Scene 2
- Beware of the Ides of March!
- Act 1, Scene 2
- Can you not see your face Brutus?
- Marcellus (left) and Flavius (right) run the Commoners out of the street and back to work because they are waiting to see Caesar. Marcellus and Flavius talk about how they're going to take down Caesar's trophies and make sure that nobody wants Caesar to rule.
- Act 1, Scene 2
- While Caesar is walking the streets with Antony and Calpurnia, he's called upon by a Soothsayer in the streets. He warns Caesar of the Ides of March. He's saying they are unlucky but Caesar passes him by.
- Act 1, Scene 2
- Cassius and Brutus stop to speak in the street and Cassius tells Brutus that he's been acting odd. Brutus brushes it off by saying that he's been lost in thought recently. He also says that it will not ruin their friendship no matter what.
- Act 1, Scene 3
- This kind of weather is nothing to be out in. I've seen some strange things on the way here. Hopefully this isn't a bad sign.
- Cassius tries to convince Brutus that he's stronger than Caesar by telling him that Caesar needed to be saved from drowning by him. He's saying that Caesar isn't strong enough to lead Rome.
- Help me Brutus! I'll surely drown!
- Cassius is informed by Casca that both Marcellus and Flavius have been sentenced to death because of how they removed trophies from Caesar's statues.
- On account of Caesar, you two have been sentenced to death by hanging!
- Casca tells Cicero of all the weird things he's seen today and on the way to meet up. They discuss how it could be a sign of bad things coming. They both agree that nobody needs to be out in these kinds of conditions so they part ways.
