- SCOTT (17) is in front of the classroom giving a presentation.MADDY (17) walks into the classroom and tries to sneak on by.MR BROOKS (36) is disappointed that she has interrupted a speech.

- MR BROOKS: Where have you been?
- MADDY: shrugs off Mr Brooks and sits down. SCOTT: hasn't taken his eyes off of her since she walked in.SCOTT: develops a sweat and fixes up his glasses. The classmates begin to chuckle. MADDY: has not even looked up to see what is going on. MR BROOKS: gives the students a stern look.
- SCOTT: so yeah, in conclusion, the conclusion is um...
- MR BROOKS: carry on. Scott.
- SCOTT: goes to speak but instead lets out a high pitched squeak. Everyone laughs at Scott as he walks out of the room.JIMMY (17) chases after him.MADDY: has not even looked up to see what is going on. MR BROOKS: gives the students a stern look.
- JIMMY: Scott, if she means that much to you then you have to tell her.
- SCOTT : runs off down the corridor
