- Washington: ¨This rebellion is a threat to our authority. I´m going to lead my troops to crush the rebels.¨
- Jefferson: ¨That would be a a foolish idea to send all those troops. This is violating the peoples liberties!¨
- The Election of 1800
- John Adams for president! He will bring us all peace and prosperity!
- Jefferson for president! He will give our states the rights they deserve!
- How strong should the national government be?
- Hamilton: ¨The national government should be strong and able to keep order among the people.¨
- Jefferson: ¨It is best to have a small government to keep the people happy and free!¨
- What is the ideal economy?
- H: ¨Obviously business, manufacturing and trade will allow us to keep a strong economy¨
- J: ¨. We need an economy based on agriculture and farmers. We need to prioritize our food sources.¨
- Which European country should the USally itself with?
- ¨We need to ally with Great Britain because they are a powerful and respected nation. France has become too violent.¨
- ¨We should continue to support France no matter what. Losing lives is a small price for freedom.¨
- Is the establishment of a national bank constitutional?
- ¨We need this national bank to help collect taxes and keep our funds safe.¨
- ¨No! The bank does not give loans to farmers to buy land. How is this fair to the backbone of the economy?¨
