- Wow Madhav!! I loved this place. It's so picturesque! Thanks for bringing me here.
- Truly my friend, it's high time for all of us to practice measures to control pollution and sustainability of resources.
- In fact I always love to live in country-side in lieu of towns. Cities are highly polluted.
- Our school is encouraging such measures a lot! The concept is of being a Green School.
- Oh that's great! Tell me more about that.
- Sure Kedar. As you know the most abundant source of renewable energy in UAE is Solar energy. Our school is having slope roofs with solar panels to produce enough electricity to cater the daily operations.
- Although it rains very rarely in UAE, we don't let it waste at all. We have channels under roofs to direct the rain water to be stored in an underground tank and use it .
- As an encouragement, studentsgetawardedfor following such measures.
- Also, we have a very organized segregatedgarbage collection system with which we collect bio-wasteseparately and use it in our bio-gas plant. It provides enough fuel for our school canteen and fertiliser for the vegetablegarden.
