- Mr Bentley gives a call to Arthur telling him that he must stay and continue to work on the papers at the Eel Marsh House until he has at least made some sense in his work.

- Back at the Eel Marsh House, while Arthur was working on the papers he suddenly hears a familiar sound from a room and goes to check it out but finds out that the door is locked.
- Growlll
- Oh my god, What was that?!
- Arthur starts to get tired and reads a few chapters of his book and goes to sleep.
- Why is the rocking chair moving, is someone in here?!
- The next day at the Eel Marsh House, Arthur found a box of letters from a person named Jennet to Alice Drablow about Jennet's child and was given to Alice to take care of. As Arthur reads through the letters he suddenly hears a sound outside.
- Arthur hears a sound of a pony and a trap falling into the marshes with a boy crying.
- The room that was supposed to be locked is now unlocked and the rocking chair is moving as if someone just sat there and left right when he came in.
