- The theme is don't judge a book by its cover because you would think by the cover that this book is all about robots and "nerdy" stuff, but its really a dramaful and sometimes funny story about middle school kids.
- The point of view is first person, but there are many people using first person.
- The setting used a lot is the science lab at the academy
- The conflict is a not smart kid gets sent to a gifted academy
- Chloe selfless caring smart
- Donovan not smart careless selfless
- In this scene, Donovan accidentally knocks the globe off of Atlas's back and gets sent to the principals.
- In this scene and the next scene it is where Donovan first came to the school because his principal accidentally put his name on the gifted list.
