- From this Scripture reading there is evidence that reveal Jesus’ mission on earth was to continue God’s Saving Plan when he Washes the feet of his disciples to show his disciples leadership and discipline.It is important to believers that God’s Saving Plan was fulfilled so our sins can be forgiven, and we can live out Jesus’ message of Love, compassion, mercy. From the Scripture we can also find insight into who Jesus was and what is central to his message. We can also ascertain that Jesus was always part of God’s plan by how Jesus was living by Gods word and doing God's work for him. This Scripture is important to believers because it shows believers how to have discipline , and humility. God’s saving plan was accomplished though the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ because today we can see because believers of this scripture can see how much discipline Jesus had showing that they can help people in need.
