- Hi there! Today we are going to see a little story related to teaching under adverse circunstances!

- I'm teaching thirty five students, and I have realized that all of them have different proficiency levels!
- The thing is that I don't know how to deal with that.

- 1. Avoid overgeneralization of proficiency levels, which means that you can't categorize your students into ¨bad¨ or ¨good¨ students.
- 2. Individualize your techniques, which means that you must tailor your ways of teaching according to your students' needs (skills and abilities).
- 3. Offer choices, which means that you have to convey to your students that they all have challenges and goals to pursue.
- 4. Use technological aids, which means that you should take advantage of what technology offers.
- 6. Vary group work tasks, which means that you must mix all the students to do an activity.
- 5. Aim for the middle, which means that you should try to deliver the class in a way that is clear to everyone, aim for the middle of the class.
