- Human Trafficking is a very dangerous, scary, and serious problem in the real world and has been for many years. Human Trafficking is a $150 billion industry, making it the second most profitable illegal industry in the U.S. There are over 49.6 million people in modern slavery worldwide, and almost half of them are children. - What is Forced Criminality? Forced Criminality is a type of trafficking where the victim is being used by force to be involved in illegal activities such as shoplifting, drug trafficking, and forced marriage. "UNICEF found that an estimated 5.7 million children are living in forced marriages. According to the International Labor Organization, 10 million children are forced into modern slavery through forced labor."
