- God's chosen people were at the war with the Philistines and they are facing each other; ready for battle.
- Who will come and fight me? If you can find someone can beat me, I will offer my self and the whole Philistines to be you servants.
- They came back after 40 days and still no answer.
- Who is this man who defies God's people? I will go and fight him!
- This Goliath has been a fighter all his life and you are just a young lad.
- You can come to me armed or with a sword or spear, but I can come to you in the name of Jesus and I shall strike you down so everyone will know who the God of Israel is.
- He took a stone from his bag, put it in a sling, whirled it around his head and hurled it. The stone hit Goliath in the center of his forehead and fell to the ground.
