- Manitou Springs1/2 mile
- Jake is depressed about moving from his town and having to start over again at a new school.
- Jake's mom and dad are trying to cheer them up on the way to their new house.
- But Jake tunes them out completely
- They pass through town on the way there hoping that Jake would see the nice town and become more optimistic.
- They try to telling Jake that there will be plenty of activities for him to do in the town
- Jake still does not listen.
- Jake's father irritated that Jake was not listening reaches back an slaps the headphones off of Jake and starts yelling at him.
- Jake starts crying as his dad berates him with hateful remarks.
- Finally they arrive at the house.
- As soon as Jake see the house he starts running away just so he could be alone.
- He starts heading for a forrest that he remembers seeing on the outskirts of town.
- While exploring the forrest Jake discovers a cave in the side of a hill.
- Jake sees the silhouettes of two men in a cave one man has a gun and is pointing it at the other mans head.
- After pulling the trigger the man looks at Jake.
- Jake frozen with fear does not even try to run.
- Another man comes out of no where and hits him.
- The blow knocks Jake unconscious.
