- There’s no dagger here. It’s the murder I’m about to do that’s making me think I see one.
- Macbeth kills Duncan and becomes King
- Go get some water and wash this bloody evidence from your hands.
- I can’t go back. I’m afraid even to think about what I’ve done. I can’t stand to look at it again.
- Macbeth kills his best friend Banquo
- (to the GHOST) You can’t say I did it. Don’t shake your bloody head at me.

- As Macbeth was going to kill Duncan he seen daggers that weren't there in front of him, he was talking to them.
