- Mark is so weird.
- You know his family is very religious like they are at church almost every day.
- Let’s meet in the library after class so we can finish our report. Are you guys available?
- Sorry, I can’t. I have plans.
- You mean you have church thing?
- Dude, can’t you skip just once? You go there like every day.
- That same afternoon, Mark and his mother went to church.
- Jesus said to his disciples: “I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now. But when he comes, the Spirit of truth, he will guide you to all truth.” - John 16:12–13
- On the way home...
- I feel bad for them. Church is a community of people working for God’s glory.
- I don’t know why people see church as boring and weird.
- Maybe because they don’t have faith or don’t believe in God.
- Next day...
- Because it’s boring.
- Hey, church boy!
- Whatever!
- I don’t know why you see church differently.
- No, it’s not. If only you have faith and connect with God, then you’ll know.
- I don’t why you are all making fun of me but church is all about God. I attend Sunday mass regularly, do bible study, pray every day, teach the youth about gospels and do acts of service. I feel much closer to God and keeps me inspired to share my beliefs with others and express my faith.
