Edgar Allen Poe's "Tell-Tale Heart"Aiden WarrenThe narrator wanted to kill the old man
CLIMAX
The narrator snuck into the old mans room every night at 12 o'clock. He wanted to see if his "vulture eye" was open. He did this for 8 days straight.
FALLING ACTION
The narrator wanted the eye so bad. He called the old mans eye, the vulture eye.
RESOLUTION
IT WAS ME!!!!!I KILLED THE OLD MAN!!!!
Particularly though, on the eight night the narrator was being extra cautious. He opened the door very slowly, when he was in the room he opened a crevice of his lantern to see if the old mans vulture eye was open and it wasn't.
The narrator eventually got so mad so flipped the man off the bed and suffocated him and killed him, he needed to know what to do with the body so he cut the old man up and hid his body parts under the floor. The neighbor called to complain about a noise complaint so three cops showed up.
The narrator could hear the old mans heart beat and it was"killing him inside" he was going crazy and eventually confessed to the cops because he couldn't take it any longer and was sent to jail.
