- I bet these plants have some code that is more important than others, because it doesn't look like they are blended.
- I'm going to breed these plants with themselves until they make copies of each other. That way I'll be able to start this of fresh.
- Now Ill carefully pollinate them and see what each generation looks like.
- It seems that 25% of the plants are green.
- That must mean that each plant has dominant genes of yellow, and recessive genes of green
- What Mendel taught us, is that all organisms carry genes, and some of those are dominant, and some are recessive. Dominant ones will show up unless there is two of the same recessive gene. We can now use this to predict genes in humans and other organisms before reproduction.
