- OH NOO!!!!The Archduke and his wife have been shot!
- HA HA!I have killed the family.
- Germany, Austria-Hungary and Italy will become a Triple Alliance.
- WE WILL TAKE OVER THE TRIPLE ENTENTE!
- THERE IS NO STOPPING US!
- France, Russia, and Great Britain will now join a Triple Entente.
- WE WILL WIN!!!!
- EVERYONE IS ON OUR SIDE!
- Triple Alliance
- WW1 was different from previous battles. They used a method called trench warfare. This consisted of digging trenches and they would fight from the trenches. There was also poison gas that was now being used. The gas could blind, choke and burn the victims. Machine guns, explosive shells, tanks and aircraft's were also first used in WW1.
- Triple Entente
- I just got news from Great Britain. I want all my troops to suit up we are fighting in the war. I can no longer stand back.
- Yes Mr. President. I will gather my troops now and we will set out ASAP!
- Troops, gear up we are fighting in the war!
- The US has joined the war because a German diplomat sent a message to Mexico telling them "if they attack the US, they would then get back the land they had lost." Fortunately, Great Britain found the note and warned the US.
- At the end of the war, Germany was forced to pay an enormous amount of money to the war’s victims and had to accept full responsibility for the war. They had to limit their size of its military and had to give back the conquered lands to France and Russia. Nearly 9 million soldiers were killed and 11 million civilians were killed. France, Russia and Belgium farmlands and cities were destroyed.
